The Concession. A gated community set amidst the
grand backdrop of Florida's natural surroundings.
You begin to understand the rarity of The Concession when you look
upon the 250-year old live oaks, majestic hardwoods adorned with mantles
of Spanish moss. There's a feeling of sanctuary here, with virgin woodland
uncut by farmer's plow or logger's saw.
This magnificent panorama is preserved in a development that establishes
new standards for Gulf Coast living. The Concession's neighborhoods
of Birkdale and Lindrick are uniquely situated to ensure owners the
ultimate in privacy and the best of the natural environment. Only 255
homesites are available, ranging from one-half to over one acre, with
views of a water feature or woodland preserves. The community is further
enhanced by the distinctive architecture of the exceptional homes.
A selection of renowned builders provides a choice of style and ensures
each home matches the exceptional surroundings.
Estate home and homesite packages from $1.3 million
to over $9 million. For more information about this stunning community, send me a message below.

The private 18-hole core golf course
spanning 520 acres offers a golf experience without disruption.
No interior roads cross the course and only a few rooflines are
visible. What's more, the course is designed to look as if it has
always been there. It will have the enduring feel of a classic.
Practice on the 23-acre practice range, shop for the latest in
golf gear at the pro shop and caddy or cart, the option is yours.
The Concession, 1969.
The Ryder Cup Match at Royal Birkdale, Southport, England.
The 1969 Ryder Cup is best remembered
for "The Concession." With the outcome of the U.S.A./U.K.
match hanging in the balance, Jack Nicklaus conceded a two-foot
putt to Tony Jacklin on the last green. It resulted in the first
tie in the match's history. The pair left the green with
their arms around each other's shoulders. This singular act
of graciousness is roundly considered one of the grandest gestures
of sportsmanship ever.
The Concession, Today.
The Tradition Continues on Florida's Gulf Coast.
It's a friendship born of one
of golf's greatest moments. Jack Nicklaus now designs a Signature
Golf Course in association with Tony Jacklin, with an adjoining
residential community that mirrors the ideals of Ryder Cup competition.
It's a course that celebrates the level of sportsmanship
inherent in Jack Nicklaus's concession at Royal Birkdale.
