The Course
This club has a regulation eighteen hole course and a nine hole regulation course. The Blue Heron Course is the well-maintained eighteen hole course. The fairways are very narrow, and the greens are large, fast, and have some undulation to them. There are many sand bunkers throughout the course, and water hazards come into play on thirteen holes. The Eagle Course has plush fairways. Water comes into play several times, and the terrain is relatively flat. Ted McAnlis redesigned both courses in 1995. Equity memberships cost around $56,000.00 and social memberships start at $30,000. To live in this neighborhood, one must be a member of the Country Club in some form.

The Homes
Among the most dramatic homes in Sarasota are those found in The Oaks. Many of Georgian design, homes here are complemented by an idyllic setting with statuesque trees. Situated on both the east and west sides of U.S. 41 in Osprey, just south of Sarasota, The Oaks offers an outstanding stretch of coastline and a ten-acre bald eagle sanctuary. Homeowners are invited to join The Oaks Club where they may enjoy championship golf, Har-Tru tennis courts, an oversized pool, croquet and a multi-million dollar clubhouse.  Currently, prices in the Oaks range from the $900's for a home to over $7 Million.  Condos start in the mid $400s.  Also, there are many lots available in this prestigious community- be sure to contact me for more information about building your dream home in this great Sarasota location.  Send me a message below to learn more about the Oaks.
