The Course
The Founder’s Club is an idyllic core course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. located just three miles east of the I-75 with convenient travel access. Situated on 700 acres of prime land with over 90 acres of lakes, this course has a true wild feel to it. With lots of sand, water, and natural hazards to contend with, this is a true shot-maker’s course. The Club itself features an outstanding Golf Hall with excellent dining and posh locker rooms, as well as tennis amenities. There is an excellent caddie program here and the staff are courteous and professional.
The Homes
The Founder’s Club offers a very nice variety of custom homes ranging from large estates to golf cottages. In the initial phases of development, there were a variety of builders in the neighborhood, but the remainder of the community was acquired by London Bay Homes who now control the majority of new building in the neighborhood. There are several existing homes in the neighborhood but also room for lots of new construction.
